@robotfeels well. my opinion of super famous is from an indie standpoint. so like, iron and wine, and bon iver are super famous to me. though they are hardly famous compared to lady gaga.

@CooperHaydenn Usually, in order for a band to become big, they'd have to sign off to a major record label that would control how they write (which would limit their creative control over their own music), or they could become popular just from their music, but that's unlikely because people who listen to the radio are being spoon-fed what is "good music". They don't actually appreciate anything original that takes real talent to write.

@thepapertransit i think its a 50 % chance he would keep his sound. some bands seem to assimilate, where as others dont. vampire weekend stopped making good music when they got popular, but the fleet foxes got better in my opinion. but i agree with you:)

@CooperHaydenn You have a valid point but it seems like once someone gains that much popularity there's too much pressure on the artist or band to put something out that will sell instead of just being itself. That's all I'm saying. There are plenty of bands that you nor I have ever heard of that make a living just making music. There's just too much good music out there and looking for it is half the fun :D
