i live in belgium and i got mine for 40€ !!!

I have the forrest size axe made by wetterlings and sold under a different brand name. Same head shape and same handle. I sanded mine smooth, stained and sealed it with linseed oil then after it was cured dusted the handle with baby powder and pulled a bicycle tube up double thickness for a 4 inch wide overstrike guard. I also wrapped the handle with friction tape where you hand naturally grips the handle to prevent slippage. low cost disaster prevention.

i need to know, cause i got a 60 dollar usa axe from .garrettwade. c om and it wasnt mounted right, and they sold out of that kind, so they let me return it and replaced it with a 117 dollar wetterlings forest axe.
