@pyrobeast1994 Though Sherie Rene Scott was the original Kathy in New York, & made the ocr, Lauren Kennedy played Kathy before her, when the show was produced in the Chicago area (& before a number of changes were made to the show, due to Mr. Brown's ex-wife's objections to aspects of it). When the New York production was being planned, Lauren Kennedy had the opportunity to play Nellie Forbush in a West End (London) production of "South Pacific," so she did that instead of "Last 5 Years."

the last 4 songs of this show are the most tremendous songs in the world of music theatre. the next ten minutes is a fantastic song as well.
