Office Depot celebrated the opening of its newly remodeled store in Hollywood, Calif., on Thursday, May 20, 2010 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Leron Gubler, President and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce commanded Office Depot, a long-time member of the Hollywood Chamber, for their continued investment in Hollywood and the community. Attending the re-opening were Rochelle Silsbee, Business Team Member, representing City of Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa; Angela Motta, Field Deputy, representing City of Los Angeles Council President Eric Garcetti; and Andrew Lachman, Consultant for the Joint Committee on the Arts, representing State Senator Curren Price, Lee Ligons, Vice President of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce; and the staff of Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
During the ceremony, the Office Depot Foundation donated 100 childrens backpacks and presented a $100 contribution to each of the following local non-profit organizations: the Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood, the Dubnoff Center for Child Development and the Peacock Foundation.
