Bill Bojangles, Sammy Davis Jr., James Brown, Michael Jackson, all considered to be the greatest entertainers of their time and generation. All are dead now. We should celebrate them and appreciate them. Young people watch and know your history. No that many people have made sacrifices and have paved the way for you. Do not take anything for granted or think it is owed to you. All the greats were at his funeral and carried his casket. What a tribute. Thanks for the post.

Ironic,..In Mr. robinson's day, african-americans(negroes) entertainers were treated like they were less than human at many of the towns and venues they performed in and yet they withstood the insults and disrespect with grace and humility..but many of todays so called entertainers (especially the so called "artists" of gangsta rap) ACT less than human but are given accolades as if they are raising the bar..when all they do is lower the bar for those youth that don't know any better..its a shame
