Just started doing some of the drills this week. I see results at the range, so interested to see how it works on the course. The feel makes sense. The best shots do feel effortless. Just remember that you still have to put in all the work inside 100 yards, putting, etc. The beauty of golf is that it's an endless process.

@1030LSU You're welcome. To add to my comment. The greatest epiphany I had, and added to my gravity golf drills, was getting the concept of putting "the whole bat" on the ball. You don't try and hit a baseball by stalling your hands, and hitting it with the tip of the bat, you put the whole bat on it. Golf, samething. Don't stall the top of the shaft and hit with the clubhead, keep the top ot the shaft ahead by the turn. The whole lever from top of left shoulder, and length of clubshaft, passive

@JJMcKinnon1 - Thanks, things began coming together for me this week when I found "my look" instead of trying to mimic DL at the top of his swing. Now I have 2 swing thoughts instead of 8. I suppose this is because swing plane and impact position are a product of the turn and not voluntary acts. It is really easy to make progress with these drills. (not to mention the new found power).

@1030LSU My guess is that you are actually stalling your pivot, and flipping with the hands. So the arc bottom comes before the ball, and the club is on the way back up=top, thin, or even fat sometimes. When you flip, the left arm has to collapse to avoid the ground. The secret is passive hands, and let your TURN square the clubface. Don't aim the face with your hands/wrists. This is subtle, and you are probably not aware of how your subconscious is trying to aim the face with your hands/wrists.

@jbplunkett1 - Can you tell me how the swing changes from driving to using irons? I have seen success straightening out my drives with these drills, but cannot get a descending blow on iron shots. I tend to top or hit very thin. Is there a modification to stance width, ball placement, etc for iron shots? Any help you can provide is appreciated.

I enjoyed watching the video more than when I do the drills.

That last video shows how the hips twist in the opposite direction of the torso during the downswing.

@moo690 Lowered your handicap by 24 in a week? This is possible in as little as 6 months using gravitygolf drills, but not one week. You either typed your comment wrong by accident, or perhaps you are being sarcastic. If the latter is true, you are misdirecting your sarcasm, because these driils work better than anything else that has yet been designed for learning swing mechanics that don't require compensations. Compensations required because one is fighting against the natural laws.
Danny is an amazing athlete but he also has the correct training and technique to allow his athletic talent to be maximized. People with less talent and flexibility can benefit a great deal from doing these drills and putting more gravity to work, fightiing less, and getting more out of their golf swing
