did anyone notice heather's voice changed from when she first appeared.. in the beginning she sounded like she had a frog in her throat .. the krystal & rita storyline along with the maldavian storyline and massacre wasnt well received by the actors .. the shapiros went over the top with all these exotic locales and outrageous plots

The Rita story could have worked if they hadn't taken it so far. They could have had Rita cause trouble by imitating Krystle's voice on the phone or in-person with lawyers/bankers who didn't know Krystle. More believeable and - with Krystle free - there would have been more drama with her having to deal with the fall-out from the shady actions of her 'alter ego'.

@TheNsd09 i agree, she was attractive when she was younger but did not age well...she looks her age here and now at 71..keep in mind that she has had no ps.. joan collins who has always appeared youthful even approaching 50 and beyond. linda evans aged somewhat gracefully also but looks a horror now with the bad plastic surgery she has had....plastic surgery works well for some and not others....susan lucci is 62 and looks 20-25yrs younger on camera. heather locklear is not aging well either

Krystal looks better at playing rita than the other actress (brief moment) playing Rita!

Respond to this video... actually the writers wrote the script but it is the directors job to catch this type of thing but if he not a all-time director he would not know.

@TheJaking87 because heather locklear at this point has not played this character enough to remember and the writers at this point r more focused on getting the Colby's ready than to pay attention.

@sarahs075 yes, the writers had lost the plot by then, Completely!! there were some good episodes in Season six but it was mostly ruined by the Krystle twin plot.

Because when she makes an issue of her name with the Carringtons, it's because of what she perceives as their condescension. She's not about to let them talk down to her, and insisting on the more sophisticated sounding version of her name is part of that.

With Rita, obviously, this isn't an issue--and someone like Rita is more likely to respond to her "just plain folks" name.
