Great Clip.
We have the technology now, why are the Governments not doing anything about it?
Because they will lose out - unless they can introduce a renewable tax I wonder?

localized energy is the way forward, people need to take more responsibility for the energy they use and stop wasting it!

@auran5 Thanks for your interest. You can find out more about wave power at the E.ON UK website - YouTube will block the URL if I include it here. Click on the 'Generation' tab at the top and then 'Planning for the future' on the left hand navigation panel. I'll get back to you on the flats question, it's a good one!

@randyblandy Thanks for commenting. We have more plans for home based microgeneration for our customers, its what we call the small energy world.

I hope this can be reached.
Localised cheap green energy for the people.
Hi there,
I liked the film Nice animation style.
As its produced by E.on, I'd be tempted to add more, possibly as a follow-up film, about what E.on are doing to increase output from all renewable technologies.
I know E.on have a large wind portfolio, for example.

Hi @windpowerrocks Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for commenting. We're planning more videos about all types of energy generation we're involved in, so watch this space.

Very creative and well edited; thank you for sharing!
I was very intrigued by the comment to have each home produce its own power (an idea that I, and others, keep foremost in our thoughts).
Energy is all around us and abundant, the issue is accessing it easily by everyone.
I may add the same is true of water too (air condenses to water).
LOVE & Peace

There was a bit here about own homes being it's own little power stations. How would this work for a block of flats I wonder? The tidal wave thing is quite interesting as well...is there a site that has more info on that?

Hi again @auran5 You asked about how micro generation would work for flats? Go to the E.ON Talking Energy website and click on 'Our Responsibilities' then 'case studies' and then 'low carbon society'. You'll find a link to information about the Dalston Square development which has its own decentralised energy network.
