Heh I love the way that Koei dont even bother to explain this scene; so I will.

It is said that if a banner breaks in the wind, then the enemy is planning an ambush.

Since it is Sun Jian who gets ambushed, it doesnt make much sense to have him in this scene, because if he had a suspision about an ambush, he wouldnt have walked straight into it. Id have Ce in this scene instead. ;)

Good point. :P I did know what the broken banner meant, but I didn't think about what Sun Jian would do if he saw it. I'll get Sun Ce up too in that case. XD

The banner breaks in a way that it looks like it was meant to break off. I mean the broken top is a perfectly straight line.

I think Liu Biao was foreshadowing.
