@Eshto No - the Church's original ban was on birth control. Still is. The use of condoms FOR BIRTH CONTROL is a sin. When you use them for the purpose of disease transmission, there is no sin. Both Casti Connubii and Humanus Vitae both predate the AIDS crisis; this means they do not set precedence in this case. Too many trads fail to recognise this reality.
