ZULEMA FALL 08 "Revelations"

stunning.

Very nice way to combine a photoshoot/runway type feel with just two models. I LOVE the silhouettes, but I am still trying to figure out Zulema's aesthetic. The clothes don't look very high end, they look very organic, almost as if they are mande of muslin or are not the finished pieces.

it takes some designers several seasons to develop a clear handwriting, but having looked at the images on zulema's website her point of view is pretty clear.
Im not sure which pieces look like unfinished muslin 2 u but if unfinished muslin created these pieces then I champion the use of workroom staples in designer clothing I dont understand the organic comment either.r u talking about the fabrics being "green" or the design
Fabric choice doesnt make a piece "high end".

Many wannabes make the mistake of blowing thier budget on fabulous fabrics to disguise the fact they havent got the chops. Personally I think white muslin is an excellent medium to separate the wheat from the chaff.
The billowing grecian gowns in Lanvin's fall collection are unlined with raw fraying edges and made of POLYESTER.

Zulema...congratulations on your imaginative presentation.
I hope you ship to the uk cos I need those inky black leggings and that white duster coat in my life!
