Well you are agreeeing Carly was overmarked on vault so what is there to argue about. Sofrone is actually quite good on bars, by far the best of the Romanians. Her beam set did her in.

@lambielkwanfan If you have noticed, gymnasts have different builds therefore have different ways in showing power. Hatch was put on the team for vault only, Carly was put on for the All-around. I understand that Carly may have been overscored in this competition, but not in others. Both feet landed out of the area in this All-around on Carly's vault, she scored 9.375 add 0.2: 9.575, I don't think so. Same for Sofronie on bars, way too high.

The Chinese gymnasts cannot transition from the low bar to the high bar without ending up in a dead hang. It's not a dramatic hang, but watch every chinese bar routine, and you wills see. It's so peculiar.

Carly's vault is a good vault, she get pretty good height and her legs are together. Her 9.375 was very fair, Pavlova did a good vault, but she took 2 steps back, and did not control the landing. I think Pavlova's score was very fair as well, although I do think Pavlova should have had bronze.

Pavlova did that vault with more height, distance, and much better form. Add to that the tenth Carly had for being out of bounds, and if Pavlova is a 9.425 then Carly should be a 9.1. If the judges though Carly was the one doing Pavlova's vault they would have given her a 9.7 probably. Also hilarious how in qualifying when Carly stuck her DY it got within a tenth of Hatch's best stuck DY in team finals. What a joke. Carly's best DY looks like a junior vault compared to Hatch's.

That is a load of crap, carly had great form on vault, the only mistake was she hopped back in bounds, thats it.

Um, yes, commentator lady, it has a name yet! It's called a Yezhova and it's been in the code since 2001!
