Nice speakers and sub dude, but that camera does not do a good job at picking up the bass very well.

Unfortunately, your speakers are way too good for your receiver. Sony receivers are widely considered to be very poor sounding. I've owned and listened to many, other than the ES line, they're barely better sounding than mini systems. Find a Denon, Onkyo, Harman Kardon or something in a similar price range. Even Yamaha and Pioneer.

@FuckingStanz It is not easy to test another receiver in my room and with these speakers. Overall, I am quite happy with my system, but i do not doubt in can be even better. However, at some point your money is better spent elsewhere :)

@raymondleeleggs ty, i really like the clear design of this model. Unfortunately i have to use the remote to get in the menu for simple adjustments as equalizing, but i can also equalise with the soundcard software.

The camera is a Creative Vado HD, which performs about the same as the latest smartphones. It requires a well lit environment and a stable hand to get good quality video. Audio is distorted because of the subwoofer moving so much air. It's the same effect you get when filming outside without a proper microphone :P
