@douro20 If they did it right, zero. Floor needs to stay empty down there for cold air from AC units. Like someone else said, the cold air comes from the bottom and gets collected at the top, then cycled to AC unit for cooling, and out to the floor. Data centers will even have hot and cold aisles and your equipment must have fans facing the right way to get cooled properly. The ethernet cables will probably be placed in special overhead trays suspended from ceiling.

When was this recorded?

It's a cool video but I would not hire those builders. The first concern was they left a large pile of leftover material on the floor for a few days. That's a huge fire hazard. There's no seismic cage in this room and so I guess you don't get earthquakes!
The racks look like they are very close to the wall. I like four feet or more.

Yeah. It amazes me how many people dont realise how much cooling is needed to keep the room cool.

So how many miles of ethernet were laid under the floor?

This would have been better with some music or something

What software did you use to process the time elapsed video? Or was that just part of the security system.

This was old school from the 90's. We simply had a picture taken every once in a while and then stitched the photos together from some command line tool. Today, you can use any number of tools including just quicktime.

Great to see that video. Why on earth spend good money on on a false ceiling in a data centre?

To create a plenum for return hot air. cool air underneath. hot air above.
