Four uncommon vegetables were highlighted in the Great Veggie Adventure, and here is an introduction to even more vegetables you may not have tried yet.
Richard Molinar and Michael Yang, with UC Cooperative Extension and the Small Farm Program, show us around Tchieng Farms in Fresno, Calif., where many varieties of Asian vegetables are grown. These include varieties of moqua, sinqua, opo, bittermelon, long beans, eggplant, water spinach, yam, sugar peas -- and many, many more.
