walking up the 101 in cardiff to the dinosaur cardiff kook stage set instillation 8/13/2011

People respond to the art and creative reaction that the Cardiff Kook or silly surfer statue evokes out of a community that is upset it got stuck with a chessy kitch stautue in their community and everyone came together to see the responses of costumes and stage sets this watered down intentionally non offensive artwork stirs in people who think it's an eye sore and hate it with a passion. Local people are passionate about turning the statue into different topical events and issues, costumes, seasonal celebrations, you name it they changed him to something they would rather prefer to look at and something interesting or funny like a few days ago the Cardiff Kook was dressed as a hooters waitress. Here he is a prehistoric caveman getting lifted up by a pterodactyl. Lots of people were impressed gathering around all day with this visual response to the statue
