Story: Cloud and Tifa had been friends since before either could remember. For the longest time Tifa had been in love with Cloud and although he didn't know it, he was in love with her too. Neither one ever said anything about it though...

One day, they had an argument that ended horribly and Tifa, unable to contain her pain, took her life. Cloud was coming to her house to apologize and saw her body fall limp to the ground, but of course he was to late to stop or save her.

Cloud lived with the pain of her death for a few years, learned how to fake a smile and convince everyone that nothing was wrong, but in side he always blamed himself. One day he was thinking about her again, remembering a time when they were younger, he'd been able to save her then. Suddenly overcome with grief, he began to hallucinate her near him and it started to drive him insane. Unable to take the guilt and pain that he himself was inflicting on to him, he rode to the old Shinra building and threw himself off of it, all the while remembering her face and the last good times they had together.

And then... They were a part of the lifestream... Together.
