  • thanks, I would like to keep this video for reference

  • @wandyhee I don't plan on taking it down any time soon. So, you should be refer to it anytime. Glad to know it was helpful.

  • i have a problem with a sticking throttle how do i fix that its an older bike

  • @pmario89 First, you'll need to determine why it's sticking. Make sure the grip isn't hanging up on the end of the bar or against the switch housing. Make sure you're cable isn't adjusted to tight. Depending on the bike, it may also be easy to look at the cam the cable hooks into on the carb to ensure that is moving smoothly. Once you've ruled out the above, you can lube the cable. You may need to do that more a couple times. Let me know what you find and I can help more.

  • where are your other videos?! Please keep making videos!!!

  • @presbarkeep I've gotten a little behind on producing them since the shop I was working for is no longer open. I have the next one, on clutch free play adjustment, almost edited and will try to post it this week. I now have a shop set up at home serving private clients and will start to film some more videos there. The good news is I can do a wider variety of them, since I don't have a boss worried about driving away business by telling people how to do things themselves.

  • Thanks for this video, very informative and easy to follow. I'm new to biking and noticed some free play in my throttle today. You're the first vid I stumbled upon and after watching I now feel like I can do something about it.

  • thanx got my pocket bike to idle greatly

  • Thanks for this very well done video. Yeah, I know it's not rocket science, but it's good to have a clue before I go out to the bike. My throttle suddenly won't return.

    Thanks a bunch.

  • @HighOctanePowersport Thanks man that was it got it fix

  • Serious thank you man, your vid goes straight to the point and that's how it should always be in this tutorial thing. Thanks, I had too much free play on my 82 xs400 maxim and it was really hard to find a video that finally told me that if I tighten the adjuster it would give me more free play instead of less. THANKS, and keep up the good work.
