does the ball complete a circuit when it rolls over? I'm still confused, I am currently trying to this with one of my calculators

What sensors did you use (that are show in the video, were they proximity sensors?). Also, how would you wire the sensors to the calculator and would it be possible to wire and keep score of other hit targets (such as a stand up targets and pop bumpers) using this method? I really want to build a pinball machine and this method of scoring is so much easier than programming and suich.

@Skyman2596 The conductive ball rolled over two evenly spaced strips of metal and made contact.

Actually I built a machine when I was 14 that had this type of scoring. I quickly showed how it worked for the show on a piece of fiber board.
