This was the first attempt to start up this 1929 Model A hotrod. After a lot of cranking, we figured out the ignition coil was no good.

  • It wasn't a crate engine. It was a used 351 Cleveland out of a 73 Mustang. After it finally started it ran great. But it didn't last. The following summer, the crankshaft broke on the way to a hot road show. It must have been cracked.

  • Completely normal for a crate engine . This is what crate engines do all the time . That`s why they suck so bad
