@MUSICALGUNNUT45 ... That would be pushing the car to it's absolute limits... I've been up to approx 60km/h, (about 37mph), but not for too long - gotta give people time to admire the car ;)

...by the way, I guess this car doesn't have an alternator charging the battery? That's why it's important to switch to magneto?

@Toerme The Model T has a generator, not an alternator. It will actually drive quite happily on battery, but the battery will last longer if it's not used as much. Also, early generators were nowhere near as good as modern alternators. I also prefer running on magneto as it delivers a bit more power than the battery.

Have you seen the video titled "Ford Model T Half engine"? I believe it is in Australia as well.

Actually, some Model T's were built in Highland Park, MI.
