The Merriments

The Merriments was formed on the basis of The New Generation Band founded in 1998. In the beginning the band played predominantly in clubs and discotheques. Since the early 2000 we have started to play abroad on ships and resort complexes working for Colorline, Fiordline, DFDS, Tallink and other companies. In the beginning of 2009 the band acquired new members and changed the name to The Merriments. Presently the band consists of six people as follows:

Lyudmila Chenova -- Vocal
Dinko Donchev -- Piano and vocal
Nikolay Roydev -- Trombone, keyboards and vocal
Krasimir Vasilev -- Drums and vocal
Penko Roydev -- Bass and backing vocals
Stanislav Velchev -- Guitar and backing vocals

Since the beginning in 1998 the band has showed a consistent interest in versatile music styles centered mostly on the commercial demand of the public in Northern Europe.
