An Animation made for my BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Final Major Project using Adobe Flash CS5.5.

This piece was based on the painting 'Supremus No56' by Kazimir Malevich, by animating each shape individually. I used the blue curvy shape to examine the animation as it self judged and reassessed its well being. The movements made were chosen to give the effect that the animation is progressively changing and never settled, always trying to achieve an equal balance and use of space.

I exhibited this animation by projecting it into a large empty frame hung on a white background, giving the illusion that the 'painting' is moving.

  • @DivinePonies cheers man, well im at uni now so im going to get my lecturers to help me re-upload them so it doesn't do this, but thanks for the advice.

  • Sorry about the patches of colour left behind from the shape movements, i don't know why it does that, i'm hoping to try and fix it in the near future.
