The cheese acts lyk a weight, which holds the clamp down. Taking it off will result in the trigger moving upwards, and the clamp moves in for the kill^^

the thing the cheese is on is holding the spring back so when the mouse steps on it it releases the spring then it flings down and kills it

I still don't know how stepping on that triggers the trap... But the animation is great!
