@burundustra You are somehow more miserly and grouchy than Scrooge himself. Keep counting your farthings. Did the health effect of 66% more people taking the stairs occur to you? Since you seem to have a fetish for energy, what about the energy it would take to treat these people who would be ill from insufficient exercise?

i can't believe all the negative comments on this video. the idea was to get people to do something that is better for their bodies--using stairs for exercise instead of the escalator for convenience. don't overthink it.

It would be interesting to know if this changed people's beahviour over a longer period of time. How much of it's effectiveness was the novelty. It is a lovely idea and ti's great to see so many people clearly enjoying themselves.
