@TherealRNO: It was James Basket, but the way he sang and performed was James Earl Jones-esque. In fact, watch later clips of James Earl Jones (for instance, American Legends) and you'll notice a striking resemblance between the two persons. Perhaps they'll really the same guy with a name change, since Basket was banned from Song of the South's release due to the prejudice of the times, whilst Jones is considered a part of Americana.

@TherealRNO Oh, yeah! Now I remember! He also did Mufasa in The Lion King! But I didn't know that he did Uncle Remus. I thought that was someone named James Basket or something like that name.
