A Cal Fire helicopter dropped more than 20 loads of water on the fire above Lucerne, Calif., on Thursday, August 12, 2010. The fire was dispatched at around 5 p.m. and was monitored through the rest of the night. In addition to the helicopter's water drops, tankers made six retardant drops. Cal Fire and Northshore Fire Protection District fought the blaze. The cause was ruled to be a vulture into a power line. Video by Elizabeth Larson, Lake County News, www.lakeconews.com.
