Hey does anyone know the name of the musical piece being used here? It also shows up in the June Taylor Dancers Soundie that is posted all over the Internet under the title "Jiveroo." It's a hot song -- but I've never been able to identify it and find the recording.
BTW, it's worth adding -- the announcer certainly sounds like Jim Backus, who would have been the right age for this clip.

according to al minns jitterbug was actually a term used to describe someone that couldnt dance swing properly.... i found that to be pretty intresting

These are (most likely) Whitey's Lindyhoppers from Harlem. The dancing is identical in style to that in the swing dancing clip from "Helzapoppin."
