  • who is the violinist at 1:38?

  • @zjbeast The late Raymond Cohen

  • and then, overwhelmed, it dies. real positive to the little ones!

  • @SMtwilight121208 If we consider it in the context of human history i.e. as mankind as a hunter gatherer then it is positive. People need to eat to live. If you had of been born 2000 yrs ago you wouldn't have give a monkey's toss about the fate of an animal.

  • raymond cohen is awesome :D

  • what an honor it would be to be asked to play 1st violin on a piece like this...I don't even play violin though :(

  • @hardcommunist Wow this opens the whole thing up to philosophical inquiry. Who decides who is to vote? How are you going to control sexuality? Unfortunately some countries still have the death penalty, sad if. you were wrongly convicted. sadder still if the death penalty gives others gratification. I think someone called Jesus was given the death penalty by the authority of the time. How can rights be earned when we live under an economic system that demands exploitation of workers for profit?

  • @MrPblower Your comment makes no sense... How is saying 'death is a natural part of life' an oxymoron? I am not saying anything about after life or anything of the like.

You're telling me that death is not natural? Death is the one single thing, once born, that any person can be assured of. It's not an oxymoron, but a simple fact of life. Get used to it :P.

  • @Grigeral Death is a natural part of life .oxymoron.... nothing after life mate. tough shit...

  • ruined by the intro from eric morcombe

  • @SMtwilight121208 Death is a natural part of life. The one thing we can be sure of. What's the point in sheltering people from it, however young?

Besides, Autumn is when plants shed their leaves anyway, the piece is supposed to represent this, feeling the fast fading life passing on and the inevitable end (enter winter), until next year when the cycle starts again.

You would paint this with happy faces to lull children to sleep all the easier? To me, that removes the point in the piece.

  • @DrMontague actually there is no way for you to know that. 2000 years ago people were growing grain. Also only rich people got to eat animals every day everyone else ate bread/rice/corn depending on where they hail from.

There was no ice in the Mediterranean so i doubt my people were ever hunter gatherers, we could find things to eat and eventually grow crops first. Aristotle was a Macedonian you know?
