Sometimes the CDJ states the timecoded mp3 is only 22 seconds!
So the tune stops then! And if i hit play again on the CDJ's, the
tune plays backwards!
More importantly, as you will hear, only one channel "works", the
other channel gives a high pitched noise but you can still hear
the tune underneath.. Deff not a ground loop, as I added an isolator
between the mixer & amp, and besides, only 1 channel on the usb
card goes like this... It is constant, when either channel is playing
only one channel gives this noise.. Very weird......

Anyone suggest anything?

  • are u scared to show ur self im not trying to be mean but y dnt u talk in your videos respond if u wnt

  • @DBOYS941 because I can not talk that's why

  • Well, the ASIO mute both monitors worked...... but its sooo low volume, even at the mixer at max.....

Also, how can you cue tracks.... maybe because my decks are not proper CDJ's, as the platter alters the pitch (like pitch bend) as default, when i hit cue, it doesnt do anything... and when I hit cue when the track plays, it just stops - I guess I need to reload the track in VDJ?

  • This renders it unfeasible to use really, what with the reverse when thouching the platter, random tempo changes and reverse when playing tracks......

I've spent loads on this already...... remind me if I ever get an idea in my head, to shoot myself! lmao

  • mine whistles just like that idk wtf it could be !!

  • Are you using the cams or the actual KHDS because i dont think the KHDS were designed for computer controll. Not yet anyway...

  • this is what happened to me. deffo look at this prob peter

  • I use to use Stanton C.324's, numark dm1050 mixer with serato control cds and VDJ. It never really worked like I had expected it to, I was having the same problems as you, I switched to the serato program (It really takes patience getting used to) and I switched to vinyl timecode, It hasnt dissapointed me yet. It is a tough switch since I dropped about 1200 on my cdj setup, didnt use it long, and now i completly switched to a vinyl setup, and I dont think I will ever go back to cdjs.

  • ouch!!

Probly better off killing VDJ and just using the CDJs

  • i think what happening with the high pitch noise is in the maya 44 control panel there is a monitor input slider and when i got mine i had the same thing happening so i muted the "monitor INPUT" section in the maya 44 control panel but im not sure how i got to the panel.

    hope this helps

  • yes but all cd counters and mixer counters are inaccurate , even cdj 1000's .

Im not saying that vdj is bad or you shouldnt use it im just saying that to progress as a dj you need to learn without the aids .

its like riding a bike with stabilizers

  • oh, and Traktor, PCDJ, MixdInKey? Don't forget most CDJ's have a BPM counter... even some mixers
