Engine is a rebuilt 390. Holley 650 double pumper. Two straight pipes from manifold all the way to the glass packs.

if you don't mind me asking, how many glass packs do you have to buy? how much did you pay the holley 650? and does the car run well and does it have more noticeable power? i was gonna do the same stuff to my '61 except for the whole engine rebuild.

@BMWDriverC101 The engine rebuild was about $3500. After getting the original carb rebuilt several times, I gave up on it and decided to just get a whole new one. I went to a performance shop just for fords and they told me that bullet birds have a special low profile carb. I payed around $300. Idk if it was because my original was shot, but I did notice a big increase in power with the new carb.

@BMWDriverC101 After the new carb, the car ran smooth with 0 hesitation on start ups. About the exhaust, unfortunately idk the specs, but I can tell you that I brought it to a local muffler shop and told them what I wanted, how I wanted it and that I wanted glass packs. I paid about $350 for parts and labor. The camera doesn't show how good it really sounds. IMO, it's the best decision I ever made. In idle it sounds mellow and like a hot rod at WOT.
