CHAN:
And Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf is facing impeachment proceedings. The move is likely to deepen political uncertainty in the already troubled Muslim nation.
STORY:
It's been said his days are numbered. And now time is running out for Pervez Musharraf. Pakistan's ruling coalition has announced it will begin impeachment proceedings against the president.
Party leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif made the announcement after three days of talks.
It's a move likely to deepen the political uncertainty in the Muslim nation.
[Asif Ali Zardari, Co-Chairman, PPP Party]:
"The coalition believes, leadership believes, that it has become imperative to move for impeachment under the Article 47 against General Musharraf."
And with the announcement came a stark warning to Musharraf: "Make no attempt at dismissing the government."
Musharraf has been accused of plunging the country into political and economic crises.
A series of measures were implemented by Musharraf seen as an attempt to hang on to power, with the backing of the army who he has heavy influence over. The response of the army for their former chief will be crucial.
[Asif Ali Zardari, Co-Chairman, PPP Party]:
"If someone has no love for Pakistan, if he does this act, it will be his last verdict against (the) people, against (the) people's mandate and against Pakistan."
Following the news, Mr. Musharraf canceled his trip to attend the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing.
Musharraf's appeal to the opposition to give him another chance seems to have failed. But the President has been weakened before and has not been ready to go. Musharraf has vowed to fight the challenge. All eyes will be on his next move.
Sadari harami look how he says the name of "Pervaiz Musarif" white saying "Gernagal Musaraf" hwat every Musarif didt there where no problemens in Pakistan the problemens start when this 2 harami joined pakistan.

The only way to get out of muddy waters is to hang couple of power hungry generals for traitorous actions and undermining other ailing institutions of the country. Only then these retarted 'foriegn agenda servers' would be stopped from their persuance of destablizing the whole nation.

That's right! Only time will tell whether democracy will bring stable governance and progress. I have no faith in dictators or Gnerals taking over since they have always proved more destabilizng than any politician. I have every expectation that after 2 or 3 cycles of imperfect democracy, Pakistan will move forward since I know the alternative is to have even more corrupt incompetent Generals like the idiot Musharraf undermine the whole nation. Cheers!
Pakistan Zindabad!

Well ... Man! Reality is what the time will soon bring you on your doorstep who's better than whom ...

No it seems we have a lot to disagree about. My fundamental belief is that any corrupt politician is better than a corrupt incompetent dictator like Musharraf. The truth lies in comparing 9 years of Musharraf and the associated instability and terrorism he brought. Mush undermined whatever crappy institutions we had and delayed Pakistan's long march to stable government. Even if Zardari is a clown, PPP has been voted in and as long as it completes its term we will see the seeds of democracy.

I exactly know where my world lies ...
Its a logical comparison, Zardari isn't worthed to be even said a "President" ...!
Bastard! He's an "Incident" ...!
This nation isn't going to sing about this morOn in affirmative; now or never ...
Anyways, Our motives have few things common ... We got nothing to argue upon ...!

Let's get one thing straight. I am a proud supporter of the Pak military who defends the homeland from all enemy and filth. The professionalism of the rank and file jawan is second to none. Unfortuately, cowardly generals who often get appointed based on nepotism are spoiling our reputation. Retard Musharraf is a case in point. He was chosen over many more senior and deserving Generals since idiot Nawaz thought the Indian Muhajir General would be subservient since he has no ethnic power base.

I wonder what world you live on! In any nation, the civilian head of government gets credit for achievments under his watch. The corollory is that the civilian head gets all the flak when crap goes down. Margaret Thatcher took credit for the military victory in Falklands- Bush took credit for the invasion of Iraq. Obviously none of them directly fought or even made the strategy for attack. The clown Zardari is given credit in the West for Pakistan's recent successes although we know Kayani is #1

U saying Zardari doing better ...?
He's addressing problems ...?
I doubt your wisdom ...
Its not him Bro! Its Army thats wiping off the miscreants out of north ... Its the same Army that you are cursing ...!
I don't count zardari more than a slay dog ... This is a mere misfortune that he's being imposed on Us ...
A gambler ... A corrupt person ... A moron ...
Even a greengrocer knows enough him ...

Why talk about enforcement of dogmas/laws when the army never lets any elected government complete its tenure. We allowed black ass Musharraf 9years of illegal dictatorship. Why not let any elected corrupt politician complete even a 5 year term? You've seen that even an idiot like Zardari has done better in under 1 year than the buffoon Musharraf in 9 years. Terrorists/Taleban are on the run, macroeconomic indices stabilized, Zardari has been more effecting at begging and energy crisis being addres
