I Have The Same Filter I Found A Sunspot On March 17 2010 the sun was fricken bright that day and hotter and was giving off more heat than it was suposed to during this time of the year. I almost went blind staring at it for 3 seconds so i said to myself "LOlz Theres Got To BE SUNSPOTS!!!" so i was correct lol it was Between Very Small And small plus it was completely Cloudless So It Was Perfect Day

BTW i got Celestron Nexstar 6 Se Smidht Cassegrain Telescope.

Me neither. I also have the same filter as you (see my private message to you) but the sun is very quiet at the moment. Perhapse we will photograph our first sunspots simultaniously

O.K. That sounds like a challenge. Who can video the first sun spots of this cycle.Sir I accept your challenge!!!

We have to find the sun first. With the current weather conditions here, it's as difficult to find as the descent stage of Apollo 11 in the Sea of Tranquility is with an 8 inch Celestron :-)

Thats true. Considering when I put the solar filter on the first time it took me nearly 40 mins to get the sun in the eyepiece. Imagine something as big as the sun in the sky and I couldn't find it!!! And I want to observe deep sky objects!! :)
