This seemed kind of random, was there more story here? I don't remember.

LOL. It was pretty random. 2002 was the first year GH stopped doing the Nurses' Ball for The Day of Compassion, so I guess this was a token AIDS storyline. It came and went out of nowhere. Nonetheless, it was a rare glimpse into Zander's life pre-PC (this was before the crypt revelations and Cameron's appearance), so I appreciated it.
