Luxury Korean apartment is due to be finished mid 2012. Seoul has been called the most wired city in the world and this apartment certainly is a show piece of modern Korean technology and comfort. The gadgets help to make living in Korea a dream come true for the techno friendly citizens of Korea.

The salesman told us that this Korean apartment is being built in a new town just out of Seoul. I would rather call it a new suburb. Having a scale model of the developing suburb does give you a feel for what the developers are wishing to achieve and the large central lake and parklands will give Koreans their dream of luxury apartment living yet in a picturesque green friendly environment.

Each apartment has it's own very small standing room only "bunker room" with fire proof walls and door. A good idea but I do wonder what temperature can the room with stand, for how long and where does the fresh oxygen get supplied from?

Summary of the smart home automation network features:
~open the door
~answer the phone
~leave a video note, instead of a sticky note
~security control
~change the mood of rooms
~send email
~register your car(s) for car alert -- you will know when your car(s) is driven into the car park or when your car(s) leave the building
~aircon and appliances control

  • Supertramp?

  • @BarryScot YES luv it.

  • To be honest, at almost 1000,000USD for a plush apartment, It's probably better finding something outside of the Seoul metro. You'll probably save enough money to buy a helicopter to commute with.

  • @sanwamble LOL yes with a pad on top to land it.

  • nice unit!

  • @123sherylin me thinks so.
