any mic will work for any drum if its the sound your going for but wotch out for the spl on the mic altho you need to do alot of resurch on the mics you sead you used from the posishan i saw the akgc1000s was not a c1000s and the sm57 wasnt one ever just be cerfull because your giving people wrong info and try experamenting with different mic posishans diffrent posishas give a drasticly diffrent sound :)
