This video is soviet and Federation antitsarist propoganda. For example, Vladimir Aleksandrovich Sukhomlinov, minister of war, is described as Rasputin's appointee and as a money grubbing incompetent. Those were the charges of which he was convicted, but even the Bolsheviks freed him as innocent. Sukhomlinov had modernized the Tsar's military from defensive forts to mobile artillery and cavalry but mechanized warfare was a new technology and Germany's massive mechanized preparedness unexpected.

Oh yeah, just forget to mention that Rasputin was totally against the war, had kept Russia out of another war, and did everything in his power to try and stop Russia's involvement in WWI. This makes it seem like he "bungled" the war. If not for Rasputin Russia may have fallen earlier.

Oh boy, Alexandra should not have trusted anything about Rasputin. The Tsar wasn't even there, then Rasputin got murdered, and that really pushed the last of the Russian Monarchy headlong into destruction.
