These hangers were brand new when I was stationed at SJAFB in 1981-1983 and a CRS type used a unauthorized jumper plug against T.O. on an F-4. The system seen the flash and discharged in the hanger. What a mess. And yes the dude was in trouble for not following the T.O. The foam burried the Phantom, Open canopies and all.
