Loop 375 improvements in El Paso

This 3-dimensional visualization demonstrates the project limits of the proposed improvements to Loop 375 from I-10 to east of the Franklin Mountains State Park entrance, a distance that includes approximately 3.6 miles of mainlanes and approximately 2.10 miles of frontage roads (from Northwestern Drive to Paseo Del Norte Drive).

Currently the proposed project provides for direct connectors to and from the El Paso Central Business District or I-10 East. The ultimate freeway to freeway configuration will provide direct connectors to I-10 West. Typically, the freeway to freeway connection in the initial phase of implementing a full system interchange, the "inbound" or Central Business District connection is the first to be implemented. As funding becomes available, the other direct connectors will be implemented.

Looks like they r gonna put in carpool lanes!!!! YAY!!!!! Finally in El Paso, we have carpool lanes. We have been needing those for years now!!!!!

Why no seamless entrance ramps onto I-10 West? Or am I just not seeing them? How will this improve traffic flow at that intersection when half the traffic still has to stop at the lights?
