I really dont think she has a clue of what she is singing about.
-
hear voice is to refined, she did not capture the bitterness of the character nor does she have since of irony about her line.

fairly good performance, especially considering this a much "older" part for a teen ager to sing, really written for a woman in her 40s

She totally missed the alcoholic midlife crisis part of the song.

This girl is really good. A little too pop sounding for my personal taste. She sounds a little Barbara Walsh from the revival, but obviously she didn't try to imitate her, since the revival came out a couple years later. I would've liked it to have more guts and be a lot more raw, but this is still good nonetheless. I still don't think Company is a very good show for a high school. They did it well, but the kids can only go so far with the characterization, since they haven't had the experience.

That was absolutely amazing! Very talented!

they are not old enough.... simple.... that girl is not meant to sing that song... it's meant to be sung by a midddle aged woman... this musical is meant for 40 yearolds... little as 30.

WOW! this girl was excellent! I was impressed how she made it a song but yet all the bitterness of the lyrics came through. Good job whomever this girl is.

Most people's complaints about this production are basically, "They're not old enough". Not enough people seem to be saying what a brilliant production it is! I've done a bit of amateur theatre but nothing compared to any of this. I'm preferring these clips to the ones of the professional Revival also on YouTube. This girl has a great voice and gives a good interpretation if you ask me. Well done everyone!

Her voice is very good, as has been said. :)

Well, I don't know what people are complaining about. I like it. Besides, does anyone really expect a 16-year-old to be Elaine Stritch?
love your voice (=

MY voice?
Oh - ya mean HER voice!! ;-}
Yeah, it's very sturdy and right on key. At every performance, I looked forward to her performance of the piece.

sounds like she's heard the performance from Camp a little too much.

Well actually, she wasn't even aware of the movie. The film came out in September, 2003... and this clip is from March of 2004; not much time to study that crappy flick. But thanks for the knock.
