The facelift of the a-body(a-body 2nd model =30-31-32&33) was done by michelotti indeed.
Later Michelotti designed the 44,55 & 66.
The design is quite similar to the Triumph Dolomite...

These innovative cars were tough little beasts.
They could take a lot of punishment at nasty rural Dutch roads and harsh winters.
Not fast and certainly not glamorous, but very relyable and economical, getting you from A to B for years and years.
When I was young I did not want to be seen dead in one of these, but wish I had one now.
