Just a little video I made of a recent hike at the Delaware Water Gap. Got lucky as it was a perfect day. Be sure to check it out if you live close by.

  • man i love this place its a great place to hike

  • It is beautiful for sure! The only thing is, the last few years, Ive noticed it can get really crowded up there, which kind of ruins it for me. Totally depends on the time of day/year you go up there. Sometimes its not so bad.

  • At 2:08. What road is that? How far from Route 209 / 80 West/East?

  • Hi, the road your seeing is rt 80. The trail I was shooting from is on the NJ side (rt 80 west side). Its one of the last exits in NJ. Might even be the last one I think.

  • Me and my couzin did it for the fist time yesterday... Challenging and closer for us since we live down near the shore. We usally go to the catskills but were happy to come upon the Gap. We plan to come back and do a lot more. Very nice video. Thankyou!!

  • What the hell is that guy doing on the top at the end. Looks like a new type of rain dance? Great vid though.

    Dooooooooooooope!

    Ha!

  • Does anyone know a good location to tent camping in the Delaware Water Gap. I'm looking for a spot on the water, near a waterfall or something really nice

  • this is awesome i live 25 min away from this

  • what vista is that at the end?

  • Yep, Kriswhat is absolutely right.

  • The last exit in NJ is the Old Mine Road which takes you along the other side of the mountain its one of the coolest roads in NJ. Check it out if you get a chance. There is lots of waterfalls and other stuff to see. If you drive 5 miles down and park at the Douglas Parking lot you can get to Sunfish Pond easily, its about a 30 minute hike.

  • This is NJ, the road at 2:08 is Rt. 80 in NJ. To get where this guy went you take Rt. 80 West to around mile marker 2. You'll pass a large old train bridge, then you'll see the Gap and some huge cliffs around mile marker 2 this is where you look for the Dunnfield Creek parking lot. If you pass it there will be 1 more exit before youre in PA. At the Dunnfield Creek parking area you have to follow the Red Blaze trail to the top of Mt Tammany. Red Blazes are white with red square in the center.
