Dana Miller is our spokesperson for this years Researching a Cure 2009 campaign. Dana is a 45-year-old wife and mother of four from Wayland, Mass.
In September 2008, Dana was diagnosed with ALS and her symptoms progressed rapidly. Within six months of diagnosis, she had trouble walking, talking and using her hands and arms. She started using a walker and could no longer drive.
Dana depends on the support of her beloved family, including her husband of 20 years, Bill, and her children, to help her through this ordeal.
