If you think it's fake heat it up to 450°C and if smoke comes out it's fake. Real bills should be ok till 800°C

What's so bad about fake money anyway? As long as you can get what you want with it, nothing else matters right?

For the people saying to get the money off the 1$, i believe they only print parts of the bills in magnetic ink, so you could still detect if its in the wrong place.

@db4life87 They was the 1 dollar bill in water and use the ink from the water to print it out on a peace of paper to make a 100 dollar bill. (im from the uk)

@db4life87 They wash bills wich have litle value, like a one doller bill or such.
Get the ink off the paper, then print a new bill of lets say 100dollar using the ink from the 1 dollar one.
