  • Barell curls are THE mass builder. True, an EZ curl or supercurl bar will relieve stress on the wrists/elbows, but it works more of the outer head/brachialis, making the biceps taller and more "peaky"(not a bad thing, though, a good thing, just not optimal for size). The straight barbell curls really hit the inner(large)head hard, increasing the width and overall size better. Of coarse, if you really want arm size, hit the triceps hard, since they make up about 2/3 of the upper arm.

  • my arms are big becoz of it ...best exercice for the biceps..ever..if u want ur arm big do it every time u train ur biceps .

  • Victor, for starters, eat at least 1g of protein and 2-3g of carbs per pound you weigh. Try to get your proteins from good carbs, like potatoes, oatmeal, rice, yams, bread, etc, and proteins from really any (non-processed, ideally) meat, cheese and milk etc, and also, add a good quality whey protein, like EAS. The whey is really important. Eat about 30-50g of protein and 100-150 carbs every 2-3hrs, 5-7 times a day. Then later on, you can try adding some creatine.

  • Im a rookie on the weight lifting, and i found ur videos absolutely helpful. U doing a great job. My question is if its ok to workout one muscle per day and if so, how many excercises should I do??? ...thanks for all this.

  • This exercise is a true mass builder but it puts the wrists in an unnatural position & puts unecessary strain on the inner elbows. It would probably be safer over the long term to use a cambered bar or substitute this exercise for dumbell curls eg hammer curls. But yes, it is a great mass builder! Over the years i have found that i get enough bicep stimulation from the work that i do for my lats/upper back muscles & adding more direct work just tends to lead to overtraining & zero progress.

  • for a eveing meal somthng such as steak is a gr8 idea and dnt be afraid of fat on ur meat is it is power u r working on not weght loss. as well as ur main meals eating snack throught the day is vital. cottage cheese is good as well as nuts and yogurt. if i were to advise any suplement it wud b protein shakes as they are gr8 for adding extra protein. id adivise havin one b4 and after a work out. a good pre work out snack is 2 tbsp of jam with a bagel or bread. i hope this will help u as it has me
