One of the sets of Burma Shave signs we saw along route 66. I forgto that people don't know what these are. It was quite the advertising revolution. This film was shot with a small sony cybershot, while going 85 miles an hour.

"Burma-Shave" was a brand of "brushless shaving cream", sold in a jar, from 1925 through 1963. The company that marketed it decided to advertise in a most unusual way- they created a series of roadside signs, in sections (posted across most long roads in the south and midwest, from '25 through '63), with a funny rhyme and ending with the name of the product. To appreciate them, you had to have traveled at least 30 mph to read them in proper sequence. 85 mph is TOO FAST!
