most pianists make the g minor theme to this piece sound like its in 4/4 when it's actually in cut time. the voicing in the middle b major section was beautiful, but again, the choice of pacing detracted from the 2/4 long-phrase feel that brahms intended. didn't think the transition section between b major and the original theme flowed well either... the accelerando was too abrupt- the transition from legato to the original "allegro energico" should still contain brahms' marked 2/4 feel
