Interesting, looks like Carmack ported the Quake or Quake II engine to the iPhone.

Looks good, but where is the Doom music ???

It would be better if they just release the original doom on iphone with all the episodes. This is to me is not good enough because the lack of gibbing. (yeah I know I am a gore whore.)

@troy1002x i know, but at least my hands are in a natural position, unlike with the ds, where I need to use the stylus at the same time as half the other buttons....

@EvilLamas Hey, Fps games on Iphone have horrible controls too. Not being able to shoot while looking around is pretty bad imo.

@troy1002x rather good games, I have tried many of the ones you mentioned, call of duty had terrible controlls, and the racing games were just un-fun....

I despise pookomon, though mario can be fun for a short while.... not much longer though

@EvilLamas Have you tried the Truama Center games? The call of duty games are decent shooters, though a little on the laggy side, Dementium series and moon are good fps adventures, Exit is a fun puzzle game, New super mario bros. is just the same classic formula, the same with the pokemon games, Need for Speed Prostreet are one of the best driving games in the system, Trackmania is good for user-created content, super scribblenauts is much better than it's predecessor,and Castlevania is cool too

@troy1002x my sister had a ds lite with a card that let u get games free- I tried many, many ds games, they were all very shallow, terrible graphiced, samey, had terribel controlls, and were awkward to play.

some of the better ones were; gta china town wars, ninja gaiden and... well thats it, the others were crap, though animal crossing seemed good quality, but not my thing.

with the psp, i have 3 games, all have far higher quality in all respects.
