Every Saturday, the 9th grade students of St. Therese's and their teacher, Sentu Jarra, gather at the school for extra work, with an emphasis on "practicals" and visual demonstrations. In this class, Mr. Jarra had explained the principles of fire, and sought to show the effects of more or less air on a fire's ability to keep burning. The larger the container, the longer the flame burned. The students are anxious to understand, and gather around the table to see.
