Triggers of Trauma

This poem tells a true story about my own rapes as a child, adult rape, and domestic violence I endured. The words may touch to similarities with other victims and if so victims need to start expressing their turmoil so they can heal. I repressed a lot of these memories from my mind and now being suppressed. Not only are they returning but recently I found out my mom was raped and I'm that product of her rape. Writing this poem is the beginning of my healing. This video sends a message and has phone numbers you can call if you need help. Music is written and copyrights belong to my son. This poem is ©® and the rights are mine. I'm a realist poet laureate and write about my feelings in real life. Together we can stomp out these predators and abusers. Talk to your congressperson or senators in your state. Be an activist against such horrific crimes. The Internet is a ticket for these predators to seek and destroy others, don't let it be you. @smokeegyrl If you were to meet me, you will understand why. It started before birth... moving to neighbor that owned a cleaners was a predator... I am pretty sure I wasn't the only one but the one that lived right behind him... the child one I couldn't prevent... but the one at the older age.. well.. that person used my baby son as leverage...
